Let's see how much we can cram in a week!

Oh my goodness this week has been busy! It started Saturday and doesn't seem to have an end in sight. Saturday I got up early to walk in the race for the cure. My best friend Stefanie walked with me and we had such a good time. Afterwards we ate at Cracker Barrell with some friends. Later that evening we went to a Halloween party at Joe and Marcia's. We had tons of fun. Here are a few pics.
I was a rocker chic and Eric is Zoro

Me and Marcia...she was Minnie Mouse

Eric and Shane...I think he was just a drunk LOL
This is our friend Ozzy... he is an old fart so he didn't dress up, but decided to borrow Napoleon Dynamite's wig for a while

Sunday we visited with Grandmother. Oh and by the way did I mention that Tyler made the basketball team? Well he had practice that after noon so of course I had to get some pics of that too and a video.

Monday...back to work/school...and a Hoe Down. Yes that's right, a kindergarten hoe down. We had fun watching Bryce square dance and rope cows with a hula hoop. He even had his own wanted sign.

Tuesday...Soccer...he scored YEAH!

Wednesday...Well we had church, but we skipped out.

Thursday...Getting ready for our last soccer game of the fall season. Phew I think I can finally breath LOL. I think Sunday we will finally be able to rest. Oh wait...Tyler's games start soon...well I guess that's just the life of a mom of 2.

Happy Birthday Bryce!

Yesterday was Bryce's 6th birthday! I can't believe that he is 6. It seems like only yesterday I was in the hospital having him. I can remember that day minute for minute. It's kinda neat to think, but when Eric and I first started dating, Tyler had just turned 6 the week before. I never thought that these times would fly by so fast as they did.
Well, we started off Bryce's big day with a birthday breakfast. Grandmother had been staying the week with us, so I was glad she got to join in the festivities of the morning. I got up and cooked biscuits and chocolate gravy. D'nana and Grammy got to come too, and Eric was off work so he got up and joined in. Since Grandmother was going home yesterday afternoon, we decided to let Bryce open her gift before school. We had a really good breakfast.

Bryce took cookies to school for snack. It was also the last day on their apple unit they've been doing, so he took 3 apples to make applesauce. While Mrs. Coker was making the applesauce, apparently Bryce started having an allergic reaction to something, we think it was the cinnamon. So of course my little boy was off to the nurses office. He was feeling much better by the time school was over. He had two friends come home with him, Haisley and Daniel. Mom took them to her house while I tried to finish up the last minute party shopping. While I was gone Bryce wanted to show them his dog...Shelby. Mom noticed they had been gone a while so she looked out to check on them, and saw the golf cart go across the yard. Bryce decided he was just gonna take his friends on a joy ride (without permission of course!). So Mom took them on the fourwheeler instead.

We had a camping themed birthday complete with tent and bonfire! It was soo fun. Bryce had alot of friends and family come. We roasted weinies and marshmallows and made smores.

After that we headed to the house for cake and presents. I asked Bryce this morning if he had a good time last night and he said it was the best birthday he'd ever had. I have to agree! On a sad note, I woke up this morning and decided to ride my bike since it was so nice outside and some one has stolen it. Oh well so much for that.

New Door Hangers!

Hey I don't have anything to blog about, but I do have some new door hangers done and I think they are way cuter than the first ones.

Fairs, Soccer and Parade's OH MY!!!

Wow, time has flown by again without a post! Well here's what has been happening in the Heatherly household lately. My first week back to work after vacation was terrible. It wouldn't have been so bad, but one of the girl's grandfather was very sick and so she was out all week. Last weekend we had some friends, Jeremy and Kristi, visit from Hackleburg. We haven't seen them in about 2 years. It was so good to get together with them. They have just gotten engaged and don't have any children, but they love kids, so we didn't have to get a sitter. We took the boys to the fair. I think they had a really good time...so did our pocketbooks LOL! Here are a few pics that I was able to snap while we were there.

I'm not sure if Bryce liked this one at first.

But he started smiling!

And he love the upside down twisty thing. My personal favorite ride

He had to make his own excitement on this one after riding the big boy rides

So as you can tell we had a really good time. This week Bryce had two soccer games. I am posting pictures from the one Monday night. Tyler got Mr. Good Citizen (as he does every year) and was in the Hamilton homecoming parade. Bryce had a game that night, so I didn't get to go see him, but Eric went and took the camera. Wouldn't you know the batteries were dead and he couldn't get pictures. Tyler's mom is getting me double prints though, so I will post those soon. So at any rate, since Eric had my camera I was unable to get a picture or a video of Bryce scoring his FIRST GOAL!!!! He told me before the game started that he was playing this one for Will (my boss's son who was diagnosed with Lymphoma). We have a very uneventful weekend planned. I am hosting a baby shower in Hackleburg Sunday and will be bringing Grandmother home to stay with us for a week. I love when she comes to visit. I miss her so much since we've moved here. Here are some pics of the soccer game and a short video too.

Big Bad Bryce
