Eric and I got a babysitter (my mom) and went to see the movie Fireproof last night. This movie was great! It is a christian movie about a couple who's marriage is crumbling and how they find God. There were so many funny parts in it as well as tear jerking moments. I totally recommend this movie to everyone who is married, been married, or will be married one day. There were times in the movie that we sat there and thought gee that was us at one time, but now we have our marriage "fireproofed".
Bryce is feeling so much better now. He went back to school on Thursday. He was really starting to miss his friends. That makes me feel better cuz he'd been saying he didn't like school. I think he misses the attention cuz he's teacher's pet LOL. Eric has a boy's night planned tonight with some of his work buddies, so me and Bryce have decided to have a special night too. I'm gonna go buy popcorn and candy and cokes, and we're gonna rent a movie and just veg out.
Tyler is still doing good in basketball. He says he loves it, but Bridget and Keith say he looks like he's miserable. Tyler says he's just trying to learn the plays and he's very serious about it. Surprising to me that he's being so serious since he is such a clown.
Bryce's birthday is coming up and I've got to get started planning. We have borrowed a tent from a friend of mine and we are gonna have a bonfire at mom and dads. They are a little too young for spend the night yet, but I wanted the tent so they could feel like they were camping. I have tried to narrow the guest list down to just a few friends, no more than 5, but Bryce keeps naming more boys he wants to come. He's got so many friends and that is good. I hope it's always like that. Well, my tummy is growling so I better go get some breakfast.

New project
Well it didn't take long for me to figure out what I was gonna be doing during my vacation!!!! Sunday morning Bryce woke up with a fever, sore throat, and cough. He didn't really seem to be feeling really bad, but that night we were up all night! His fever spiked and he couldn't hold anything down. He started weezing pretty bad. I took him to the doctor Monday morning and she told me she thought he had pneumonia and she needed a chest xray of him (now mind you he has no insurance at this time due to the job change). So we go do the xray and then went back to the office. By this time Bryce's breathing was terribly labored. He didn't have pneumonia but he was so congested that his oxygen sats were extremely low. I was scared to death. He felt much better today. My dad came to stay with him so I could run some errands. When I got back they were playing Scene It, and daddy was quick to inform me that Bryce had been cheating LOL. Funny how Bryce brings the kid out of dad. I have to take Bryce back to the doctor tomorrow and she will let me know when he can go back to school. He has a few spots that I want her to look at while we are there looks like he may have chicken pox! Just another thing to add to my vacation LOL. Well I did get in several hours of "me" time this afternoon. I decided to make wall hangers for his teachers for their Christmas presents this year. There are some really cute ones that I have seen at the flea market and on other people's doors and I thought...gee I could do that for alot less than buying them. I really like the way they turned out. Who knows maybe other people will too and I can start making money off of them. Here are some pictures of them.

Well, I've been MIA in the blog again. I apologize for the lack of posts the last few weeks. Eric's new job has him exhausted so time doesn't afford me to blog as much as I would like. Allot has happened over the past few weeks so get ready to read! My child is a genius!!! No not really I don't want to sound like a bragging parent, but this news has gotten me so happy that I have to write about it. Earlier in the school year they tested all of the Kindergarten students to see what level they were on intellectually. Bryce's former speech teacher told me about how his scores were. There are a certain amount of sections in this test and when a child misses 8 questions in a section then they stop the test. Mrs. Wallace told me it took several hours to administer Bryce's test. He just wouldn't miss any! :) So he scored above the 99th percentile, his IQ is in the 130's (which is amazingly high), and he is on the same intellectual level as a 9 year old!!!!! WOW! I was so amazed. Well recently due to his test scores, some of the teachers have decided to test him on different subjects to see where he stands. He is reading on a 4th grade reading level. My mom told me that they are wanting to move him to first grade!! I knew he should have started last year. They still have to present it to the principal and get her opinion on it. Eric and I have decided that if the principal feels that moving him to first grade is the best plan then that's what we will do. We can always hold him back later on if we need to. Today I am off work so I will be going to pick Bryce up. I'm going early cuz on Friday if you've had good behavior you get to dance with the principal. I'm gonna video it and post it this weekend. He has got some major soul in him. I don't know where he gets those moves LOL! Eric's job is not going too well. We thought it was gonna be so great for him and our family and now we are realizing that it wasn't the best choice for any of us. I'll have more to update later about his job though. Tyler is doing well in 8th grade this year. He's hoping to be able to try out for the basketball team. He intentionally missed tryouts in the spring and now he's wishing he hadn't. Maybe one day you'll see my big boy on TV making lots of money for me and Eric playing on the NBA! OK, I know...wishful thinking. Tyler is our athletic one. He's quick as lightning and can handle a basketball like you wouldn't believe. Bryce on the other hand is probably gonna play sports in the future but I think he's my musical and artsy fartsy child. He does start soccer next week. He looks sooooo cute in all his soccer gear! Of course I'll be posting some of those pics too! Well I guess it's time for me to start my day. I have so many errands to run and chores to do I might just have to finish it all tomorrow.
